Weddings in Cardiff

Cardiff, the way you'll remember it.

Cardiff weddings put a castle in the middle of the city and a coastline forty minutes either side of it. Couples split fairly evenly between the Bay, the castle and park estates, and a drive west to the Gower for a beach ceremony that still gets everyone home the same night.

We cover South Wales and the Severn crossing into Bristol with no travel fee, and reach West and Mid Wales on the same terms. Welsh-language ceremonies are no problem, and we coordinate with the registrar on timings rather than guessing them.

Cardiff wedding photography questions

How much does a wedding photographer in Cardiff cost?

Our Cardiff wedding photography starts at £445. Film starts at £995, and photography and film booked together start at £1,395. Every quote is built around your actual day rather than a fixed package, so the fastest way to get a real number is the enquiry form on this page.

What are the best wedding venues in Cardiff?

The venues we photograph most often in and around Cardiff are Cardiff Castle, The Parc Hotel, Hensol Castle and Fonmon Castle. Each one suits a different kind of day, and we are happy to say which we think fits yours.

Do you cover the whole of South Wales?

Yes. We cover Cardiff and everywhere within about 60 miles with no travel fee, which takes in Newport, Swansea, Bridgend and Bristol. Weddings further out are still welcome and we will quote travel transparently rather than hiding it in the package price.

Where are the best wedding photo locations in Cardiff?

Our usual choices are Bute Park, Penarth Pier and Cardiff Bay at sunset. Which one we use depends on your ceremony time and the light, and we agree a first and second choice with you before the day rather than deciding on the afternoon.

Do you offer same-day social content in Cardiff?

Yes. Same-day social content is a £650 add-on on any Cardiff booking. You get a short vertical edit delivered the same evening, cut for Instagram and TikTok, while the full gallery and film follow later.

How much is wedding photography and video together in Cardiff?

Photography and film booked together start at £1,395 in Cardiff, which is less than booking the two separately. One team covers both, so there is one timeline to plan around and two sets of coverage rather than two suppliers competing for the same moment.

How far in advance should we book a Cardiff wedding photographer?

Most couples book us nine to eighteen months ahead, and peak Saturdays in Cardiff go first. We do still take late bookings and short-notice dates, so it is always worth asking about 2027 and 2028 rather than assuming we are full.
