What to plan around
Photographing Jesmond Dene House
- Oak-panelled interiors are warm and dark. The garden room is the daylight option.
- The Dene gives woodland portraits without leaving the city, and stays green well into autumn.
- Tree cover means light goes earlier here than the forecast suggests.
